Buenos Aires - Polo Practices and Foundational Buenos Aires
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we will play polo at Club Hipico San Jorge, located in Hurlingham. We will have lunch.
During the afternoon: Foundational Buenos Aires City Tour
Sur' (South of the Cathedral), which nucleated the primitive village's foundational buildings and temples, as well as the founding families' residences, in the period that spans from the city's foundation to the yellow fever epidemics and the immigration flood.
These two transcendental developments created an urgent need to move the Main Square (now Plaza de Mayo) to the north -to the 'Catedral al Norte' area- (North of the Cathedral), thus expanding the city. Along our journey, we'll run across three centuries of history, as we learn about that period's customs and traditions, which gave birth to our popular culture.
Finally, we'll pay a visit to San Telmo, where we'll have the chance to see its old tenement houses and art galleries, a symbol of our cultural heritage's syncretism.
