Argentina: your next destination
When somebody plans to travel to the Argentina, he/she doesn't know how defining the trip because of the diversity of destinations that it offers. Not only for the climatic variations that they present but also for the natural scenery, which is so different.
First of all, we will divide Argentina in 5 clearly differentiated regions: The Patagonia, maybe the best internationally known region for tourism, especially Ushuaia, the most southern city in the world and port of access to the white continent: The Antarctica. The Perito Moreno Glacier in the glaciers area or the majestic Southern Frank Whale in Peninsula Valdés, landmark of observation of different bird’s species.
However there are other regions as beautiful as the Patagonia. We will go from the south to the north and we will meet the region of Cuyo, famous for their vineyards in Mendoza and San Juan, where the Malbec is absolutely the king. But not only Cuyo dazzles us for their wines, also for the great Talampaya canyon in La Rioja or the Moon’s Valley in San Juan, without leaving aside the beautiful Parque Provincial de las Quijadas in San Luis.
Maybe, this region is not so well-known at world level for many of us, however it is not less significant, on the contrary, it is part of that Different Argentina not discovered in its entirety, yet.
If we continue with our journey to the East we will find Buenos Aires, “La reina del Plata” and heart of the Tango. One of the most European cities in South America, with that accent Parisian blended with those touches of Spanish colonial that give its an unique elegance. If you go by Buenos Aires, you must taste the “Asado Criollo”, symbol of our field. Besides you could observe the elegance of the tango, a Buenos Aires emblem that defines the citizen's idiosyncrasy.
We continue going toward the northeast and we will meet with the Mesopotamia. In it the Iguaçu Waterfalls are waiting for us, a really natural masterpiece. It is located next to the imposing Devil's Throat, and one of the most important moist soil areas of the world, they are the Iberá Mashes, where we will be able to stop and observe the autochthonous flora and fauna. In our way toward the Waterfalls, we will stop in the time seeing the work of the Jesuítas: “San Ignacio's Ruins”.
If we continue toward the northwest, other picturesque landscapes will be waiting for us in Salta, Tucumán and Jujuy. From the journey of the Train to the Clouds in Salta to the Calchaquies Valleys with their prehispanic towns or the Humahuaca Gulch in Jujuy.
There wait for us the “Cerro de los Siete Colores” in Purmamarca a work of multifaceted colors painted in the mountain, as the Pucará of Tilcara and Iruya. The town on the way to La Puna. We could reach to the Pozuelos Lagoon and the Quiaca in full northern Puna.
As you will see Argentina is huge and their landscapes are very different but with special natural charms. For that reason it is difficult to know it in one trip only and we always recommend to go little by little for not missed the secrets that each region stores
