Punta Tombo - Gaiman

During the morning, we will go to the penguin rookery in Punta Tombo, which is one of the largest colonies of continental penguins of the world, where, depending on the season, it is possible to observe their reproductive cycle. In Punta Tombo, penguins can be found from September to middle March. Back to Puerto Madryn. |

Península Valdés - Whales: Southern Right Whale
Breakfast at the hotel. We will spend the day in Peninsula Valdes. This natural paradise takes us to the sea fauna in their natural habitat. It is possible to see elephant seals, sea birds and the main character of the peninsula: the Southern Right Whale that can be found in the waters of Puerto Pirámides from July to middle December.

We'll spend the afternoon in the city, visiting the legendary and ancient Jail of Recidivists, that keeps its impressive architecture as well as the tough history of the south of the American Continent. |

Ushuaia - Beagle Channel
Breakfast at the hotel. We'll make for Harberton Farm, the Pinguinera, the Island of Los Pájaros, the Island of Los Lobos, and the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse. We'll watch many species of local birds and seals. |

Ushuaia - Lake Fagnano & Escondido
Breakfast at the hotel. It is a transition area where the arid steppes change into the profusion of the woods. We'll see the village of Tolhuin, rising in the middle of the woods, almost at the edge of the Lake Fagnano. The village has the typical charm of small towns, with bungalows and streets that get lost in continuous hillocks. Then the road starts to descend to show the splendid Fagnano Lake. Little by little we'll start ascending the Andes. Here the forests get thicker and, in the Cordillera de los Andes, appears Lake Escondido.

Ushuaia -National Park of Tierra del Fuego - Train at the End of the World
Breakfast at the hotel. We'll take the Train at the End of the World, from the central station to the National Park of Tierra del Fuego. The Austral Fueguino Railroad is attractive not only because of its elegance and style but also because it evokes the history of the early days of Ushuaia related to the old jail and the train of the convicts. We'll cross Pipo River to reach our first stop: La Macarena. The second stop will show us the remains of the old sawmill. Then the train leaves the river to get to a beautiful forest. From that point we'll continue our journey to the National Park of Tierra del Fuego where we'll find the Pipo Falls, Bahía Ensenada, Roca Lake, Negra Lagoon and, finally, Lapataia Bay. |

Ushuaia - Beaver watching
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to visit the city on your own.
During the afternoon we will depart to a private field searching for beavers, crossing the Andes Mountains. It will take 25 minutes along an off road trail with beautiful landscapes. At the end of the track we will walk through a charming forest, full of local species such as marguerites and we will finally reach our meeting with beavers.

Punta Arenas - Magdalena Island
Breakfast at the hotel. During the morning we will visit Punta Arenas in the southernmost extreme of the Chilean Patagonia. During the afternoon we will visit Magdalena Island, just 25 miles north of Punta Arenas. We will visit the fantastic Magellan penguin’s colony, cormorants and other birds that pacifically cohabit with seals in the beautiful Magdalena Island in the Straits of Magellan.

Punta Arenas - Fort Bulnes
Breakfast at the hotel. We will visit the shore of the Straits of Magellan seeing testimonies of the first populations in Patagonia. |

Mount Balmaceda (Balmaceda Glaciers and Serrano)
Breakfast at the hotel. We will travel by sea to Port Natales (Puerto Natales) towards Balmaceda Mount (Monte Balmaceda) where the huge Balmaceda Glacier are, throwing its big pieces of ice in the waters of the fiords and the Serrano Glacier
Located on the north face of the mount, to whom you can get by land together with a small lagoon formed by deshielo and pieces of ice that belong to the Serrano glacier mass. We will watch the typical flora (coigue, lenga and calafate) and fauna of the region (cormorants, ducks and condors)

Torres del Paine National Park
Breakfast at the hotel. We will visit the Cave of the Milodon, a natural formation opening to the occidental part of the Benitez Mount. We will see a replica of the Milodon a mammal extinguished 5000 years ago. We will later visit Torres del Paine National Park, one of the most beautiful, unspoiled and remote places in the world.

El Calafate - Perito Moreno Glacier & Navegation to the Ice Floe's Canal
Breakfast at the hotel. We'll visit one of the greatest marvels of the world: the Perito Moreno Glacier, declared World's heritage. Its characteristic is the breaking of its external walls due to the pressure of the water of the river. We'll then go to the floating quay of the southern branch of the Argentinian Lake, to navigate across the Ice Floe's Canal up to the front of the Glaciar Perito Moreno to see it's typical iceslides.
